PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will introduce the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Pulse Self-Reliance Mission in New Delhi this Saturday in an effort to boost the agriculture industry and raise farmers’ incomes. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the minister of agriculture and farmers’ welfare, told the media today that India is now producing enough rice and wheat to support itself and is working to do the same with pulses.

According to Minister Chouhan, expanding the area used for pulse planting will boost farmers’ incomes and fortify the agricultural industry. The empowerment of farmers and the advancement of the agricultural industry as a whole are the main goals of the Pulse Self-Reliance Mission. Enhancing irrigation and storage facilities, promoting crop variety, and raising productivity will all receive particular focus under the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will conduct groundbreaking ceremonies and launch over 2,000 projects related to food processing, fisheries, animal husbandry, and agricultural infrastructure on this occasion. Millions of farmers nationwide will benefit from the more than ₹42,000 crore in total investment made by these programs.
The Prime Minister will recognize farmers, farmer producer organizations, cooperatives, and technical innovators who have made exceptional contributions to the agriculture industry at this ceremony, Minister Chouhan added. One hundred districts with low production nationwide would benefit from the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana’s holistic development.
