PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0: New Criteria under Ujjwala 3.0
This time, new criteria have been implemented in the scheme, ensuring that only eligible families will be able to avail of the benefits. The target is to distribute 9,145 new LPG connections under this scheme in Kabirdham district. Eligible beneficiaries will be those whose monthly income is less than ₹10,000 and whose families are not in government service. Furthermore, criteria include not paying income tax or professional tax, not owning a registered non-farming enterprise, and not having a Kisan Credit Card with a credit limit exceeding ₹50,000.
Land-related criteria are also included in this scheme. Anyone who owns more than 2.5 acres of irrigated land with irrigation equipment, or 5 acres or more of land for two or more crop seasons, is ineligible. Those with more than 7.5 acres of land and irrigation equipment are also ineligible.
PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0: House and Vehicle Eligibility
Under this scheme, those who own a house with a carpet area of ​​more than 60 square meters and those who own a motorized two- or four-wheeler, fishing boat, or mechanized agricultural equipment are ineligible. Furthermore, no family member must already have an LPG connection.
District Food Officer Sachin Markam stated that new applicants must fill out the application form and complete the e-KYC process. Women who already have connections under the Ujjwala Yojana are also required to complete their e-KYC on time to avoid future difficulties with subsidies or services. The connection will only be issued in the name of a female beneficiary above 18 years of age.
