PM Kisan Yojana: For millions of farmers nationwide, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) has grown to be a significant source of financial assistance. To help farmers meet their needs and improve their quality of life, the central government offers financial aid to them annually in three payments. But this time, a lot of farmers have heard some unfavorable news even before the 21st installment was released. The reason why certain farmers will not receive this installment is obvious: they did not adhere to the rules and conditions of the plan.

The 21st installment is anticipated in November, with the first 20 installments already released

To date, the government has made 20 installments of the PM Kisan Yojana available. More than 9 crore eligible farmers benefited from the distribution of the final tranche, the 20th, on August 2. In certain states, the 21st installment has already started. After suffering severe losses as a result of recent floods, landslides, and intense rains in Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, almost 2.7 million farmers in these regions received their installments on September 26. As a result, they were relieved to get the installments ahead of schedule.

The 21st installment is now eagerly anticipated by farmers in other states. Since each episode is supposed to be issued around every four months under the plan, the 21st installment is anticipated to be released in November 2025.

These factors could cause the 21st installment to be delayed.

A farmer’s application will be denied and they will not be entitled for the installment payments if they sign up for the program while not being eligible. Likewise, the funds will not be deposited into the accounts of farmers who have not yet finished the e-KYC procedure. The program also requires land verification. The installment can be refused if this procedure is not finished on schedule.

Farmers may also not receive this installment if their Aadhaar card is not connected to their bank account or if they have not enabled DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in their account.

Eligible farmers should promptly finish all required steps.

The government has already said that the timely delivery of plan benefits will only be granted to farmers who meet all eligibility requirements. To ensure that the money enters their account on time, farmers who have not yet finished the required steps should do so before the payment is delivered in November.
