PM Kisan Yojana: If you’re a farmer and still earn little profit despite working hard year-round, this information is crucial. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government sends an annual assistance of ₹6,000 to every eligible farmer’s account in three equal installments. So far, farmers across the country have received 20 installments under this scheme, and now the 21st installment is awaited. However, some farmers will not receive this installment this time. Let’s explore the reasons and how you can easily check if your information is correct.
Why might the 21st installment not be received?

The government has established certain eligibility criteria for the PM Kisan Yojana. If a farmer’s Aadhaar card is not linked to their bank account, or their e-KYC is not complete, their installment is withheld. Additionally, farmers who provided incorrect information about their cultivable land or included non-agricultural land in the scheme have also been removed from the list.
Farmers are advised to update their information immediately. Complete e-KYC and correct their bank and Aadhaar details. Doing so may reactivate their benefits.
How to check if your name is on the list?
Checking the status of your installment is very easy. You need to visit the PM Kisan official website. Go to the “Beneficiary Status” section and enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account details.
Approved: The next installment will be credited to your account soon
Pending: This means your documents are incomplete or there are errors in the information. In this case, you can complete e-KYC by visiting the nearest agriculture department or online.
