The government has opened the portal for e-KYC. Beneficiaries can update their e-KYC by visiting any CSC (Common Service Center) or Choice Center. This process must be completed within 15 days, otherwise women may face difficulties in receiving the scheme funds later.

11,000 women have updated their e-KYC in the district so far

In Dhamtari district, over 11,000 women have updated their e-KYC. According to the Women and Child Development Department, the scheme was launched in the district on March 5, 2024. So far, a total of 236,719 women have applied, of which 235,507 were found eligible.

Amounts Directly Transferred to Bank Accounts

In October, a total of ₹225.6 million (225.6 million) was transferred directly to the accounts of 225,645 women through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). During this period, the names of some women are on hold due to incomplete documentation or verification.

Difficulties due to errors in Aadhaar details

Many women are experiencing difficulties with their Aadhaar cards during e-KYC. Sometimes, the process is being delayed due to mismatches in name, address, or spelling. Such beneficiaries are first visiting Aadhaar Seva Kendras to have their information corrected so they can complete their e-KYC in a timely manner.
