LadLi Bahna Scheme 2025: There’s good news for the women of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced at the Ladli Behna Sammelan held in Seoni district that the 30th installment of the scheme has now been transferred to every sister’s account. As promised on Bhai Dooj, women will now receive ₹1,500 per month, up from ₹1,250 previously.
Over 12.6 million women in the state are benefiting from this scheme. So far, ₹1,857 crore has been deposited into the accounts of over 268,000 women in Seoni district alone. The Chief Minister stated that the scheme is no longer limited to financial assistance, but has become a scheme that provides opportunities for women.
LadLi Bahna Scheme: Women Becoming Self-Reliant

The Chief Minister stated that under the LadLi Bahna Scheme, women have started their own small businesses. To date, over ₹45,000 crore has been deposited into women’s accounts. He emphasized that empowered women are the true foundation of a strong Madhya Pradesh. The government’s goal is to make every sister self-reliant, educated, and safe.
In addition to women’s empowerment, major changes are being made in the state in the fields of employment, agriculture, and tourism.
Launch of New Development Projects in Seoni
At the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed groundbreaking ceremonies for 114 development projects worth over ₹560 crore. Additionally, the construction of a sports stadium for youth in Ghansor and a bridge between Lamta-Pandiya Chhapara was also announced. The world’s largest tiger sculpture made from scrap was also unveiled in the Pench Tiger Reserve.

Who Cannot Benefit?

If a woman does not meet all the eligibility criteria for the scheme, the money will not be credited to her account. The administration is conducting verification drives to remove ineligible women from the list.

- The woman’s or family’s annual income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- No member of the woman or family must pay income tax.
- No member of the woman or family must be in a government job or retired.
