Haryana Lado Laxmi Yojana: The Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, which has given a new direction to the economic strength and social empowerment of women in Haryana, is once again in the headlines. The second installment of this scheme, which brings smiles to people’s faces, was released by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday. Not thousands, but millions of women have benefited from this scheme, and this number is continuously increasing. This government effort is not just about providing financial assistance to women, but a strong effort to make them self-reliant.
₹148 crore deposited in the accounts of 701,965 women a major step towards empowerment

The Chief Minister informed that since the release of the second installment, more than ₹148 crore has been deposited in the accounts of approximately 701,965 women. This is not just financial assistance, but a strong initiative by the Haryana government to empower women.
Saini said that the scheme will now operate on a quarterly benefit disbursement model, with the entire quarterly amount being sent in a single installment. This will provide timely and transparent financial assistance to women.
The Haryana Lado Laxmi Yojana App has changed the application process
The most significant aspect of this scheme is its completely digital and transparent process. Launched on September 25th, the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi App has now become a trusted platform for millions of women. The first installment was released on November 1st, and by November 30th alone, more than 900,000 women had applied on the app.
Of these, 701,965 women were found eligible. Significantly, 558,346 women have completed their Aadhaar KYC, while approximately 1.43 lakh women are still waiting to complete the final stage of KYC.
The Chief Minister has once again appealed to women whose KYC is incomplete to complete it immediately so that they can also benefit from this scheme.
All women from low-income families can avail the benefits.
This scheme does not apply to just one individual. Chief Minister Saini stated that if the family’s annual income is less than ₹1 lakh, all women in the family can benefit from this scheme. This provision is a strong example of the Haryana government’s philosophy of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.”
Action against people from other states and fake applications
After receiving applications through the app, an investigation revealed that more than 25,000 people were applying for the scheme who were either from other states or did not qualify for the scheme. In some cases, men even attempted to apply by pasting photographs of women.
However, Aadhaar-biometric verification immediately rejected all such fake applications. The government has made it clear that the scheme is only for eligible women in Haryana and that any irregularities will not be tolerated.
Haryana Lado Laxmi Yojana: Why is this scheme special?

This scheme is not limited to providing financial assistance. It is becoming a means of providing respect, security, and self-confidence to the women of Haryana. The digital application process has made it extremely easy for women. Now, any woman can apply from home, and their eligibility is determined within 24 to 48 hours. This scheme is reaching women who previously were unable to participate in any government scheme.
