Delhi Gramoday Yojana: In the villages of Delhi, a new light of progress has been lit. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena jointly launched 81 development projects under the Delhi Gramodaya Yojana (DGP) on Wednesday. The villagers were excited and full of hope after this momentous occasion.
Delhi Gramoday Yojana: Getting started in Pooth Khurd
Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena used a remote control to uncover a plaque to officially launch the projects at the occasion, which took place in the outside Delhi village of Pooth Khurd. 50 villages will directly benefit from these initiatives, which were constructed at a total cost of ₹700 crore.
Villages will receive community centers and buildings.
Public structures, community centers, and multipurpose community centers will be renovated as part of this project in North Delhi villages like as Pooth Khurd, Bhalswa, Holambi Khurd, Tiggipur, Ghoga, Sannoth, Bankner, Holambi Kalan, Narela, and Mohammadpur Majri. In addition to offering the villagers contemporary conveniences, this will act as a center for social events.

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena stated during the event that Delhi is currently undergoing rapid growth in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. He said he was confident that Delhi’s villages will grow to new heights and that the lives of the villagers would open up new opportunities.
