New Farmer Schemes: Farmers don’t just till the land; they cultivate hope. Millions of farmers in Bihar rise with the sun every day, work hard, and dream of a better future with their crops. To realize this dream, the state government has begun preparing two new schemes that will give Bihar’s agricultural system a new direction. The government aims to see Bihar’s agricultural sector reach new levels of technology, efficiency, and modernity.
Farmers to receive training in modern farming abroad

The government’s new Chief Minister’s World Agriculture AI-Generated Tour Scheme presents a historic opportunity for farmers. Under this scheme, 40 farmers from Bihar will be sent abroad each year, primarily to Israel, considered a global hub for modern irrigation, vegetable production, and high-tech agricultural techniques.
In Israel, farmers will receive training in advanced water management systems, drip irrigation, innovative vegetable production models, and high-yield technologies. After completing this five-year program, these farmers will return to Bihar and disseminate these technologies to every village. It is hoped that this will not only increase yields but also give a new identity to Bihar’s agricultural sector.
New Farmer Schemes: Modern Rural Haats for Women Farmers
Recognizing the important role of women in agriculture, the government is launching the Chief Minister Rural Haat Vikas Yojana. The primary objective of this scheme is to make rural haats safe, convenient, and modern for women.
New internal roads will be constructed in these haats, open and covered platforms will be built, and facilities for electricity, lighting, toilets, and temporary storage will be ensured. This will facilitate trade in rural areas and provide a powerful platform for women to become self-reliant. All relevant departments have been directed to jointly prepare a detailed master plan for the entire project.
Agriculture Department to be Connected with Technology, Control and Command Center to be Established
The state government is also taking steps to strengthen the agricultural sector digitally. A Control and Command Center will be established in the Agriculture Department, where all the department’s online services will be monitored.
Through this, all agricultural apps and services will be integrated into a single platform, ensuring timely and transparent service delivery to farmers. This initiative will open new avenues for technical support for farmers.
New Farmer Schemes will increase both farmers’ income and expectations.

These schemes aim not only to improve technology, but also to increase farmers’ income and boost the rural economy. Farmers returning from training abroad will spread new technologies to villages, making farming more productive and sustainable. Modern rural haats will provide new opportunities for farmers and women entrepreneurs.
This initiative by the Bihar government will not only transform the lives of farmers but also make the state’s agriculture internationally competitive in the coming years.
