Farmers Will Get 10 Hours of Uninterrupted Electricity
Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh will become the state with the cheapest electricity in the country. This scheme is a boon for farmers. They will receive uninterrupted power supply for 10 hours daily, which will further accelerate their farming and irrigation activities. The Chief Minister said that the Energy Department is now working with the motto of “Light for All, Progress for All.”
Madhya Pradesh Will Become Self-reliant Through Solar Energy
The Chief Minister stated that the state government aims to meet 50 percent of its energy needs through solar energy by 2030. So far, 5,400 MW of solar power projects are operational in the state, and many new solar projects are being rapidly developed. Work is also underway to make farmers self-reliant by installing solar panels on their farms.
Major Reforms and Stable Tariffs in the Energy Sector

Dr. Yadav stated that the state’s power generation capacity is continuously increasing, and currently, there is more electricity available than the state needs. The government is continuously working on policy reforms and technological advancements to protect consumer interests and maintain stable tariffs. The new settlement scheme will not only provide relief to consumers from past dues but will also simplify and make the payment process more transparent.
This initiative by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav not only provides relief to consumers but also marks an important step towards the state’s energy self-sufficiency. Through the Samadhan Yojana, the government has once again demonstrated that both development and public welfare are at the core of its work.
