Ladli Behna Scheme: Ahead of Diwali, wonderful news has arrived for the beloved sisters of Madhya Pradesh. Under the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana, women will now receive a monthly payment of ₹1,500. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav recently announced that the amount will be increased to ₹1,500 per month from November 2025. Additionally, women will receive a special “shagun” (gift) of ₹250 on the occasion of Bhai Dooj, bringing joy to the faces of 12.6 million women in the state.

Why didn’t the ₹1,500 receive in October?

In fact, the 29th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana was released in October, but this time only ₹1,250 was credited to women’s accounts. This raised questions among women as to when the remaining ₹250 would arrive. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav clarified that this additional ₹250 would be paid on Bhai Dooj. That is, on October 23rd, a “shagun” of ₹250 will be deposited into the accounts of all Ladli sisters in the state.

Payments of ₹1500 will begin in November.

The state government also announced that starting in November, a regular monthly payment of ₹1500 will begin in the accounts of Ladli sisters. The government is also working to update the eligibility list so that only eligible women can benefit. Women who have not yet completed their e-KYC should complete the process as soon as possible by visiting the Samagra portal to avoid future payment issues.

Preparations to receive ₹3000 per month by 2028

CM Mohan Yadav further stated that the Ladli Behna Yojana will be gradually strengthened. While women will begin receiving ₹1,500 per month from Bhai Dooj, this amount will increase to ₹2,000 in 2026, ₹2,500 in 2027, and ₹3,000 per month by 2028. This initiative is a major step towards further empowering the state’s women economically.

The Ladli Behna Yojana has instilled a sense of self-reliance and economic stability in the lives of millions of women in Madhya Pradesh. Now, with the new ₹1,500 installment starting in November, it is not only a relief for women but also a new beginning towards a stronger future for them.
